I love how the hand-painting gives it character—my 13 mesh canvas arrived with subtle variations that make the sheep feel one-of-a-kind. The 5x5 design fits perfectly in a small hoop, and the 9x9 canvas leaves plenty of margin for finishing.

The hand-painted canvas is crisp and the black sheep design itself lands right at 5 x 5, so it fits nicely in a small frame when I'm done. Wish it came with thread, but I already have a stash that works.

I've never stitched on 13 mesh before and this one has nice big holes that are easy to see, which helps a lot with the black background. The 5 x 5 design fits perfectly in the 9 x 9 canvas with room for a border. Already picking out thread colors for those little white sheep.
