The 18 mesh is perfect for this small design—the detail is incredibly crisp. The 4.25-inch starfish popped beautifully once I stitched it, though I wish the canvas were a touch larger for framing ease.

The little 4.25 x 4 design fits perfectly in my travel bag, so I can stitch on the plane. Painting is clean and the mesh is stiff enough that I didn't need a frame. Already picked up the cotton candy and bubblegum silks for it.
