The 5x5 design leaves just the right amount of border on the 9x9 canvas for a frame or a small pillow. Was a little worried about hand-painted variation but my canvas arrived with really clean color blocking on the horse. The 13 mesh is easy on my eyes and the 5x5 design fits nicely in the 9x9 frame I already had. Already picking out threads for the next one.
