The black cat has never had a simple history. Worshipped in ancient Egypt, feared in medieval Europe, and claimed as a symbol of good fortune across cultures from Japan to Scotland, no cat has inspired more myth, more superstition, or more reverence than this one. Sleek, mysterious, and possessed of an elegance that borders on theatrical, the black cat has always known how to make an impression.

Ryan ★★★★★

The hand-painted canvas has that beautiful, slightly imperfect quality you only get when someone actually paints it—my kitty's whiskers are delightfully wonky. It's a true 7.5x7.5 square, so there's plenty of margin to work with once you start stitching.

Victoria K. ★★★★★

The 18-mesh count is perfect for detailed stitching, and the hand-painted canvas has unique charm that makes each piece feel special. Matches my 3.5 x 3.5 frame without any trimming needed.

Steven ★★★★★

The little black cat design fits perfectly in the 3.5 inch space without feeling cramped. Hand-painted details on the canvas are crisp, and the 18 mesh gives me plenty of room to play with silk thread choices. Already hunting for a second one.
