I was pleasantly surprised by how vibrant the hand-painted details are on this canvas—Betsy’s face really comes to life. The 18 mesh is perfect for keeping the stitching crisp without being too fiddly.

The 18 mesh canvas is a nice tight weave, so the stitches sit really clean once you get going. I'd only done flowers before, and this face actually came out looking like a face, which surprised me. Sitting down with it for an hour at night has become my favorite part of the day.

The 18 mesh holes are generous enough that I didn't need a magnifier, which my eyes appreciated. Betsy's face came out surprisingly detailed for a canvas this size, and she's already hanging in my hallway.
