I’ve been stitching this for my dad’s den, and the 8x7.5 canvas feels like a perfect size for a small framed piece. The hand-painted details on the lab’s face are nice and crisp, even on 18 mesh.

The 18 mesh count gives this canvas a wonderful, tight weave that makes stitching the black lab’s fur feel almost meditative. I love that it’s hand-painted—the subtle variations in the design give it a unique, artistic touch. Exactly what I needed for a thoughtful gift.

Wasn't sure 18 mesh would be easy on my eyes but the holes are generous enough to stitch without squinting. The 4 x 3.5 design leaves a nice wide border for framing, which I appreciate. Just remember it arrives canvas only, so order your thread separately.
