The Hokusai Bobble is inspired by Katsushika Hokusai, one of the most celebrated artists in the history of Japanese art. Born in Edo in 1760, he worked across nearly every artistic medium Japan had to offer, changing his name over thirty times throughout his career, and produced his most iconic work, The Great Wave, in his seventies.
