I was a little worried the 4x3.5 design might be too small, but the detail on this 18-mesh canvas is incredible, and the hand-painted lines are crisp and precise.

The 18 mesh count is perfect for getting fine detail into that little 4x3.5 design, and the hand-painting gives the black lab's face real depth. I'm already planning the finishing stitch on this one, even though I know I'll have to source the thread separately.

The design area is small enough that it stitched up in just a few evenings, which was perfect for a quick project. The canvas is hand-painted so mine had slightly thicker lines on the black fur, but it honestly helped guide the shading. Fun little piece for anyone who loves labs.
