The canvas arrived with the design already hand-painted, so I could start stitching Jane's face right out of the package without any tracing. The 18 mesh holes are easy on my eyes and the threads glide through cleanly. It's going to look great framed next to my other finished pieces.

I've never stitched a bobble before and the hand-painted details on this little Jane Goodall canvas are so charming I almost don't want to cover them with thread. The 18 mesh holes are easy to see, which helps a lot since I'm still fairly new to needlepoint.

The little painted details on her face came out so crisp once I got the 18 mesh canvas under good light. It's my third bobble and the hand-painted sections keep me from second-guessing my thread colors. Already eyeing the next one in the series.
