The hand-painted detail on this Magritte Bobble canvas is incredible—it really captures his surreal style. I’m already planning where to display it once stitched.

The 18 mesh canvas is a smart choice for this design, since the small scale keeps Magritte's tiny bowler hat crisp. I've only stitched the background so far and the hand-painted lines are still easy to follow, even with all those little bobble shapes.

I've done a few 18 mesh canvases and this one is a bit denser than I expected, so the stitching takes longer than I'd like. That said, the painted design is charming and the threads are easy to lay once you find your rhythm.
